01 — The challenge

Engineering change orders crossed design, procurement, quality and three plants. Each plant tracked changes separately, so a part could be updated in one plant and not another.

02 — The solution

Corvid created a single change workflow with parallel reviews from quality and procurement, and plant sign-off before release.

  • Parallel reviews with clear decision rules

  • Plant-level sign-off and release

  • Change history attached to each part

03 — The results

Change turnaround halved, all three plants work from the same process, and six tracking spreadsheets were retired.

We no longer find out that a plant missed a change when the part arrives at the line.
